Hundreds of local students, families, elected officials, and business community members recently attended the Capitol Region Education Council International Food & Drink Festival at the Hartford Hilton. The event showcased 40 Hartford-area restaurants and beverage distributors who participated by sharing some of their best international fare and beverage samples. All proceeds from the event go toward providing scholarships for Hartford-area students to participate in international field studies.
