Cox to offer wireless in CT

Cox Communications will offer wireless services in Connecticut in the coming months, building on its existing telecommunications customer base.

The company already offers digital video, Internet and telephone services in 19 communities in Connecticut, and Cox figures it can build on that customer recognition to sell wireless in the state, said spokeswoman Amy Quinn.

The first Connecticut stores offering Cox Wireless will be in Enfield, Manchester and Meriden.

An advertising campaign launched this week that focuses on how Cox Wireless offers different options than other wireless providers, such as paying customers for wireless minutes they don’t use.
