New Haven Living magazine, published by the Hartford Courant Media Group, will cease publication with its January edition, the company announced on its website.
The New Haven-focused edition of CTNOW will likewise cease, last publishing on Dec. 29, the company said.
The Courant said it will continue to publish Hartford Magazine and the Hartford edition of CTNOW.
The company reported Wednesday it made the decision while evaluating opportunities to invest in higher-growth areas and the cost of distribution in Greater New Haven, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Andrew Julien told employees in a memo.
Despite the change, the Courant said, company Spokesperson Jennifer T. Humes noted the Courant remains committed to covering all aspects of the New Haven area.
