California-based specialty retailer Cost Plus World Market says it will open its second Connecticut location in West Hartford’s Corbin’s Corner retail center on Thursday.
Cost Plus said it will open 9 a.m. Thursday at 1431 New Britain Ave. selling home furniture, decor, tabletop items, jewelry, pottery, gourmet food and wine.
The grand opening comes after the chain unveiled a new store in The Manchester Collection plaza in August.
Cost Plus’ new West Hartford location is the latest brick-and-mortar store set to open in the shopping center known as the Corbin Collection. The 163,700-square-foot retail redevelopment was valued at $52 million.
Cost Plus, a subsidiary of Bed Bath & Beyond, operates 281 stores in 39 states and the District of Columbia.
