The Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau honored six people with “Bring It Home Awards” for their contributions in bringing events to Connecticut. Honored are , standing from left, Rosalind Coltherst-Smallhorne for bringing the Southern New England Church of God’s annual women’s conference to the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa since 2009; Kenneth Edwards Jr., for bringing the 8th annual Crisis Intervention Teams international conference to the Connecticut Convention Center in October 2013; David Kelly, for bringing Spectrum Plastics Group’s national sales meetings and leadership meetings to the Holiday Inn Bridgeport since 2011; and, seated from left, Harold Kramer for bringing the American Radio Relay League’s centennial convention to the Connecticut Convention Center in July 2014; Gladys Rivera for bringing the Fuel Cell Seminar & Energy Exposition to Mohegan Sun last November; and John Shemo for bringing the Northeastern Economic Developers Association’s 56th annual conference to the Marriott Hartford Downtown last October.
