Insurance industry heavyweights Ron Joelson and David P. Marks have joined the board of Conning Holdings Corp. as independent directors.
Joelson is executive vice president and chief investment Officer at Northwestern Mutual and Marks is executive vice president and chief investment officer for CUNA Mutual Group.
Conning Holdings Corp. is a global provider of investment management services, risk and capital management solutions, and research to the insurance industry. It has more than $91 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31, 2012. The company is headquartered in Hartford with additional offices in Purchase, London, Cologne, and Hong Kong.
