Conning said it named Jung Lee its chief financial officer of the Windsor insurance industry asset manager and research services firm.
Lee had been a Conning advisor following the acquisition by Aquiline in October 2009. The financial operations of Conning were previously managed by Tom Forella, who was recently named the director of corporate finance.
Lee joins Conning from SFRi, an advisory and investment firm focused on the insurance and risk management industries.
He also previously worked for Swiss Re, Securitas Capital and Salomon Smith Barney. He graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics.
