Connecticut Public has named new leadership to its board of trustees.
Yvette Meléndez was elected as board chair. She is president of YMR Consulting, a management consulting organization specializing in board governance and has a strong background in administration and public policy, with a focus on health care, human services and education.
George Norfleet is vice chair. He is executive director of the state of Connecticut’s Office of Film, Television and Digital Media.
Connie Weaver, the incoming board secretary, is the chief marketing officer of Equitable and a member of the company’s operating committee.
