Connecticut Orthopaedics, which is based in Hamden, recently named Susan Bader as its new chief executive officer.
Bader has served as its chief financial officer for the past decade. The company’s board of directors cited Bader’s experience in healthcare and as CFO in its decision.
“She has developed an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the business and built strong working relationships with physicians, managers and staff members throughout the organization,” the board said, in a statement. “We have every confidence that Susan is well prepared to lead the Connecticut Orthopaedics team.”
Connecticut Orthopaedics includes a team of doctors, surgeons and health care professionals who provide care at over 20 locations across southern Connecticut.

Post University selects new registrar

Post University, which is based in Waterbury, recently appointed Caitlyn Masiewicz as university registrar.
Masiewicz has served in the role on an interim basis since August 2021, and she has worked at the university in various roles for 14 years.
Masiewicz will lead the office’s responsibilities in providing academic information and services to students, faculty and administration. The office maintains student data and records, oversees credit transfers and confers degrees and certificates.
Elizabeth Johnson, Post University provost, said Masiewicz has worked for more than a decade to advance the needs of students and faculty.
“As someone who has worked at nearly every level in our university system, she holds a deep understanding of our long-term vision,” Johnson said.
