Connecticut election ballots available online

Ballots in every town in Connecticut are now available for viewing online, so the state’s 2 million registered voters can become familiar with them before Election Day.

Secretary of the State Denise Merrill encouraged voters to see who is running and to get comfortable with the ballots that they will be using on Nov. 8.

On Election Day, polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. in Connecticut.

Election Day registration is in effect, but long lines are likely so voters are encouraged to arrive early, Merrill said. Election Day registration is not available at polling places, but only at a designated Election Day registration location in each town. People using this option will need to provide proof of identity and residency.
