The Connecticut Community Foundation in Waterbury has named Kathy Taylor its next president and CEO.
Taylor, currently a professor at CT State Community College, Naugatuck Valley and a former chair of the foundation’s board of trustees, will succeed Julie Loughran, who plans to step down from the position in June, after 10 years at the organization.
Taylor will be only the fourth CEO in the history of the 100-year-old foundation. She will officially assume her new role on June 17.
