United Way of Southington has appropriated a $2,500 grant to Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging to continue serving seniors and their families with personal in-home assessments. “The very important support from the community enables us to continue to provide high quality programs to seniors, and to reach more people with assessments and access to resources that they need to remain independent and safe in their homes,” stated Dawn Leger, Director of Community Resources. “We’re proud to be partners with the United Way of Southington as we work towards improving the lives of seniors and their caregivers living in the greater Southington area.” Pictured, from left, are: Marc Levesque, senior resource case manager, Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging; Sharon Robinson, director of senior care coordinator, Central Connecticut Senior Health Services; Richard Corcoran, executive director, United Way of Southington; and Dawn Leger, director of community services, Central Connecticut Senior Health Services.
