• Provide access to high quality assistance and information on effective nonprofit management and practices.

• Advocate on issues that affect the capacity of all nonprofits to address their communities’ needs.

• Foster communication and cooperation among nonprofits.

Background: CT Nonprofits is dedicated exclusively to nonprofits in Connecticut. We are a collaborative of over 525 organizations, supporting our members’ needs so they may serve their communities to achieve their missions.

Founded in 1977 as Connecticut Association of Residential Facilities (CARF), CT Nonprofits has grown to include a diverse membership, covering all sectors of the nonprofit community.

In 1997, as we outgrew the CARF name, and in recognition of our expanding services to a spectrum of organizations, we became Connecticut Association of Nonprofits.

In 2007, we introduced a new logo that is more representative of our membership and mission.

CT Nonprofits gives members access to networking opportunities, up-to-date information, cost-saving group purchasing programs, education and training, legislative advocacy, and publications targeting Connecticut’s nonprofit sector.

Major Fundraiser: Annual CT Nonprofit Conference was held Nov. 23.
