Connecticare recently appointed Dr. Wayne Rawlins as its new vice president and senior medical director.
Rawlins will be the clinical lead responsible for enhancing Connecticare’s healthcare management programs. He will focus on improving members’ access to care and health outcomes, and reducing medical costs and he will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals on behalf of Connecticare members.
Prior to joining Connecticare, Rawlins held several senior leadership positions at Aetna, where he was the chief medical officer for student health.
