Connecticut is weathering the housing storm better than its neighbors, the Bay State and the Ocean State, but the numbers are still whirling. According to The Warren Group, single-family home sales rose 1.5 percent in July above the same month last year. But year-to-date sales dropped 4.2 percent this year. The median price for a single-family home rose 1 percent in July 2007, while May and June of this year experienced increases of nearly 5 percent over 2006.
