Conn. earns energy gold star

While the federal government hashes out the particularities of an energy bill, Connecticut is already on the clean energy bandwagon. In a new report from Environment America, the Nutmeg State is among six others leading the nation in its policy initiatives to increase renewable energy, save energy and require more clean and efficient cars. Environment America joins key members of Congress, the Sierra Club and the National Audubon Society in challenging Congress to follow the example set by the states.
