Construction of a luxury 12-unit condominium overlooking Farmington Country Club has been completed.
Torrington builder PAC Group LLC recently completed building shells of the two- and three-bedroom units, and is waiting for the units to sell before fully customizing them for occupants, according to Realtor Paula Fahy Ostop of Marshall + Ostop Associates.
PAC’s investment for the 18-month construction project was not disclosed.
Ostop said the development, at 788 Farmington Ave., is garnering a significant amount of buying interest and expects the units to be sold by next year. Two units have been sold to date.

Billed as The Pennington, the complex includes a dozen two- and three-bedroom condos ranging between 1,635 to 1,945 square feet. Listing prices range from about $479,000 to $525,000, according to online listings.
Each unit has covered parking for two cars, storage space and a patio overlooking either the first fairway or 18th green of Farmington Country Club.
Occupants of The Pennington are eligible for perks at the golf club, which is offering condo owners a two-year membership at half price.
PAC intends to operate the condominium until the units are 60 percent acquired. At that time, residents could vote to control daily operations through a Homeowner Association (HOA) agreement.
PAC has been active in Greater Hartford in recent years building the Extra Space Storage facility on Park Highway in Hartford, and renovating downtown’s Goodwin Square office tower, according to its website. It also renovated downtown offices for Amenta Emma Architects, Infosys and CBRE.
