Simsbury Chamber of Commerce hosts leadership awards luncheon
The Simsbury Chamber of Commerce (whose members are shown above) recently hosted its annual leadership awards luncheon and meeting where they presented their Business Leader of the Year Award, Public Servant of the Year Award, and Educator of the Year Award to local community leaders. The Simsbury Chamber also awarded five scholarships to local graduating high school students.
ConnectiCare employees volunteer for Junior Achievement’s JA in a Day
ConnectiCare employees recently spent the day at Ellen P. Hubbell School in Bristol volunteering for Junior Achievement of Southwest New England’s JA in a Day program. The volunteers led classroom discussions on workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy with students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
