American Asian Business Council hosts networking, recognition event
The American Asian Business Council recently hosted its 2019 Asian American Heritage History Month Annual Networking and Recognition Awards ceremony to honor and recognize outstanding Asian Pacific American Businesses. Awardees included Dhilan Shah, MDC, Garg Engineering, CT Lottery, Charter Oak Environmental, IndustrialSafety.com, SAI Systems and Fairfax Data Systems. Awards were presented by Attorney General William Tong and state Sen. Saud Anwar.
Wheeler recognizes community leaders at annual Hands & Hearts reception
Twelve organizations and individuals, including People’s United Bank and Mutual of America, were recognized by Wheeler at the organization’s ninth annual Hands & Hearts reception on May 9 at The Country Club of Farmington. The event honors individuals and families, corporations and foundations for their support of Wheeler’s mission to provide equitable access to care that improves health, recovery and growth at all stages of life.
