Commercial, industrial properties sold in West Haven, Branford

Three commercial buildings at 855 Boston Post Road, West Haven, have sold for $3.3 million, in a deal which includes leaseback considerations.

The buildings have a total of about 71,500 square feet of space and sit on approximately 11 acres.

Tony Vitti, also of Colonial Properties, represented the buyer, 855 Orange Ave, LLC. In negotiating the sale of the property, Colonial arranged a leaseback of the property for the existing business. 

Universal Hotel Liquidators, which has occupied the property since 2012, has agreed to a long term lease to remain a tenant at the property.

MAMSCO Construction Supply, LLC has purchased a light industrial building at 48 North Branford Road, Branford, for $1.4 Million.

The 26,000-square-foot building is on 1.8 acres.

Richetelli represented the buyer in the transaction. Carl Russell of H. Pearce Real Estate in Milford represented the seller, IBE, LLC.

Richetelli said the two sales demonstrate the “continued demand for both owner/user properties and investment properties in the Connecticut market.”
