Comfort Inn in Wethersfield sells for $3.7M

The 108-room Comfort Inn in Wethersfield has sold for $3.73 million, according to CoStar.com.

Mittas Hospitality LLC, a Connecticut hotel manager, paid about $34,519 per room for the inn at 1330 Silas Deane Highway, CoStar.com said Thursday on its Web site.

Shield Hotel Management, of Holyoke, Mass., was the seller.

The four-story hotel was built in 1969 and totals approximately 53,824 square feet. The hotel was previously a Best Western-Camelot Inn.

Shield owns the Candlewood Suites in Windsor Locks, and six other hotels in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, according to its homepage.
