The company is offering internet, cybersecurity and mobile services for both small businesses and corporations in the Waterbury area.
Comcast has completed the expansion of its high-speed internet business network to Waterbury, investing $1.5 million in the build-out.
Comcast Business offers internet speeds up to 100 Gigabits per second, as well as protection from cyber attacks. The expansion also includes an unlimited data mobile service.
The company is offering services for both small businesses and corporations in the Waterbury area.
The Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed the investment.
“Reliable, high-speed connectivity is key for growth, and Comcast’s network adds a new driver of economic opportunity in the Brass City,” Chamber CEO Lynn Ward said.
Comcast began a similar network expansion in the Greater Hartford and Middletown area in March.
Comcast says it has invested over $80 billion over the past decade to expand its high-speed network nationwide.
