The Coca-Cola Co. has leased space in Enfield Business Park for storing and distributing overflow cases of Coke and other soft drinks bottled at its plant in Northampton, Mass., authorities say.
Coke leased 281,000 square feet at 555 Taylor Road, where its neighbors will be toymaker Lego, which originally developed the park, and medical-products manufacturer Plastipak, according to landlord Hackman Capital.
Financial terms and staffing levels were not disclosed. But CEO Michael Hackman says it is one of the largest commercial leases signed in southern New England in recent years.
Enfield Business Park is part of the $516 million National Industrial Portfolio, a joint venture of Hackman Capital, Calare Properties, Inc and KBS Real Estate Investment Trust.
