New England’s second 7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee location is scheduled to open in Vernon on Monday, April 14.
Drive Thru Brew LLC, the company that also owns New England’s first 7 Brew location on Route 5 in Wallingford, said it plans to install its modular building at 35 Talcottville Road in Vernon on Friday, Feb. 28. The prefabricated building measures just 510 square feet and will be delivered by truck to the site.
The Vernon location formerly was the site of a Denny’s Restaurant, which has since been demolished.
7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee is a rapidly growing, drive-thru-only national coffee chain that was founded in Arkansas and has expanded to 335 locations in 32 states. The Wallingford location opened in September.
7 Brew’s service model features a double-lane drive-thru, with employees taking and delivering orders directly to customers’ vehicles. The building does not provide any seating for customers, inside or out.
The shop’s drive-thru menu includes more than 20,000 drink combinations, including not just coffee but also teas, energy drinks, sodas, chillers and smoothies.
Co-owner and operator Sharon Parmar said the Vernon location will employ 50 people.
