Coach Jim Calhoun Honored

Jim Calhoun, UConn men’s basketball coach, received the Connecticut Bar Association’s Distinguished Public Service Award for his years of charitable work in the state. Calhoun has supported food drives and galas, done work for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and hosted this past month’s Cancer Challenge Walk and Ride, which the bar association co-sponsored.
