Northeast Utilities subsidiaries Connecticut Light & Power and Yankee Gas announced Wednesday they are launching a new business center to manage commercial customers’ energy needs.
The business center will focus on small and medium businesses that make up the majority of accounts for the electric and natural gas utilities. The center is designed to help these customers manage costs and use energy more efficiently.
The center will be located at the CL&P and Yankee call center in Windsor and staffed by customer service representatives and account executives.
The new center is similar to the companies’ strategic and national accounts team that serves large business customers.
Business customers can call the center at (888) 688-7267 for Yankee and (888) 783-6617 for CL&P. It is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
