Berlin electric utility Connecticut Light & Power gave out six awards to local high school students for their energy innovation submissions at the Connecticut Invention Convention, held at the University of Connecticut.
This is the second year CL&P distributed to award to student inventions that generate electricity, conserve electricity or use green technology.
The award winners were Patrick Kage of Glastonbury, Wally Sample of Haddam, Ethan Novek of Greenwich, Julie Mackenize of Wallingford, Ariana Heath of Lebanon and Joshua Snyder of Ivoryton.
