A Milford-based cleaning company, Bioclean LLC, has purchased a 10,800-square-foot building at 88 Farwell St., West Haven for $715,000.
The company does mold remediation work, air quality testing and basement waterproofing.
Fred A. Messore, senior vice president with Colonial Properties in Orange, represented the seller, Allied Communications. Gary Bellard, also with Colonial Properties, represented Bioclean.
Michael Richetelli, Colonial’s president and designated broker, said the deal was one of several recent transactions for the company.
“We continue to see robust activity in the commercial markets as the pandemic subsides and businesses are stabilizing and adapting to a new business climate,” Richetelli said. “The most activity is in the light industrial sector, while retail is also benefiting from some repositioning.”
In another recent deal for Colonial, Messore represented a landlord, Marlaure LLC, in the one year lease of 2,500 square feet of light industrial/flex space at 488 Derby Ave., West Haven.
In Orange, BG Industrial Surplus, an industrial parts and manufacturing equipment supplier, has leased 2,000 square feet of warehouse space at 464 Boston Post Rd., Orange for one year. Tony Vitti, also with Colonial, represented the tenant, while Tom Doyle represented landlord, Leveraged Equities Ltd.
Two businesses recently leased retail spaces totaling 12,000 square feet at 221 Bull Hill Lane, West Haven. A liquor store signed a three year lease for 3,000 square feet, while a performing arts studio has a new five year lease for the remaining 9,000 square feet. Vitti represented the landlord, Nickerson Properties LLC, while Mike Cirillo, also with Colonial, represented the tenants.
Financial terms of the leases were not disclosed.
