Environmental, energy and waste services provider Clean Harbors said it plans to open a field office in Seymour, which it will staff with approximately 50 employees.
The 770 Derby Ave. office, expected to open in October, will consolidate field services personnel from existing offices in Milford and Bristol.
Field services include emergency spill response, plant maintenance, and hazardous waste management and collection. The Seymour office will also house Clean Harbors fleet of vehicles.
The Bristol office will remain as a base for the company’s technical services, transportation and logistics divisions, as well as its wastewater management plant.
