The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund will fund up to six projects annually promoting clean energy technologies through a $4 million loan process.
Projects eligible for loans up to $500,000 from the Operational Demonstration Program include electricity generation with renewable energy sources or high efficiency, advanced energy management for buildings and industrial processes, and hydrogen and biofuel production for stationary electricity generation.
The program is designed to select projects with a strong commercial process and create jobs, reduce energy costs and increase environmental benefits. Eligible technologies must be feasible and field operational.
