Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. in Bridgeport announced a shake up of its board of directors as it embarks on a new business strategy.
London financial adviser Mungo Park has succeeded Derek R. Gray as chairman, following Gray’s resignation. Gray remains a director and chair of the audit committee.
A third director, John J. McCloy II, quit the board. McCloy also sat on the audit, compensation and nominating committees.
Park, 53, is chairman of Innovator Capital Ltd., a London investment bank. His appointment was at the request of investors who collectively own a 25 percent stake in Clean Diesel, the company said.
Park has declared he has no intention of standing for re-election at the company’s 2010 annual meeting and will seek to recruit new members, Clean Diesel said.
Clean Tech promotes technology and equipment to lower sooty emissions from on- and off-road diesel engines. The company recently announced its intent to focus on marketing low-emissions parts and components instead of promoting its technology to end users.
