Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. said federal securities regulators have approved its proxy papers setting Oct. 12 for the annual meeting in Bridgeport so stockholders can vote on its proposed $5 million merger with a California clean emissions company.
Clean Diesel said it is preparing to mail to stockholders of record as of Sept. 17 the joint proxy statement and prospectus pertaining to its pending merger with Catalytic Solutions Inc., a global maker and distributor of emissions control systems and products.
The shareholder meeting will be at 11 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, 1070 Main St., in Bridgeport.
