New Canaan anti-global warming organization Clean Air-Cool Planet is hosting a Feb. 5 reception for local citizens interested in preserving the historic character of Fairfield County homes and buildings.
The reception from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Darien Whole Foods Market at 150 Ledge Road will include information on energy efficiency, renewable energy and historic preservation.
Clean Air-Cool Planet, which also has offices in New Hampshire and Washington, D.C., addresses global warming through education and civic engagement.
