St. Francis Hospital and Hartford’s health-services agency are teaming up Friday to offer free female health screenings.
As part of Heart Disease Month and the GO RED for Women Campaign, screenings and educational sessions will take place 9 a.m. to noon at the Burgdorf Clinic lobby, 131 Coventry St.
Clinicians will check participants’ blood pressure, blood sugar, body mass index and cholesterol.
The event is open to all women who live and work in the city.
