The property is a 46,119-square-foot office building with on-site parking for 77 vehicles, as well as an additional adjoining surface parking lot for 30 vehicles. The building is adjacent to the Farmington Canal Trail in New Haven.
The structure was built in 1960 and has housed a number of state agencies, most recently the Department of Social Services.
The seller was Bassett Properties Inc. of New York City.
Stephen Press, SIOR of Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services was sole broker in the transaction, which closed October 2.
