Hartford is hosting its first A.I.. Day Forum next week, offering a look at how local businesses use artificial intelligence in their day-to-day work.
LAUNC[H], a business support organization based in the city, is putting on the event scheduled from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9. According to organizers, the event will showcase how area businesses like Aureus Analytics, Relativity6, Peer Robotics, MOVIA Robotics, Unscrambl and Stable Insurance use artificial intelligence.
Organizers said Steven Shwartz, a renowned A.I. researcher and author of “Evil Robots, Killer Computers and Other Myths” and “A.I. 101,” will serve as the event’s keynote speaker. Mayor Luke Bronin and other stakeholders from Hartford HealthCare and Travelers Cos. are also set to speak at the event.
Organizers said speakers from different companies will “share how A.I. technology is being utilized to solve organizational issues” and how it’s used to unlock new business opportunities.
The forum will be held at the Trinity College Innovation Center, 1 Constitution Plaza, Hartford.
