Citizens Bank, hoping to cash in on the anticipated opening of West Hartford’s Blue Black Square development in the fall, is opening the doors on a new branch nearby tomorrow. The 3,800 square-foot branch on South Main Street is the bank’s 51st Connecticut location and its most recent addition since opening a branch in downtown Hartford in March of 2006. Citizens is a subsidiary of Providence, R.I.-based Citizens Financial Group, which is owned by The Royal Bank of Scotland.
