Citizens Bank distributes backpacks to local children

Citizens Bank colleagues Mukesh Chhaya, Sarah Fischer, Krystyna Kania, Jorge Aguilar, Elizabeth Horyn and Patrick Cushing joined more than 50 YMCA and Hartford Rotary Club volunteers to stuff 500 backpacks at the Wilson-Gray YMCA in Hartford last month. The backpacks stuffed with new school supplies went to YMCA youth members as part of Citizens’ Gear for Grades program. New school supplies were collected at Citizens Bank branches and YMCA’s across Connecticut and filled in logo-free backpacks to help ensure children return to school with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.
