CIRCLE AWARDS FOR SERVICE

Arthur Director and Edythe Director were awarded the 2008 Visionary Leaders Circle Award from Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters in Hartford. The two were recognized for their years of community service, specifically with efforts to improve the social, intellectual and emotional lives of disadvantaged children. Arthur Director, founder of Connecticut Lighting Center Inc., helped to create the first Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter in the state.
