Bloomfield-based Cigna ranked 22nd for inroads made in corporate responsibility activity in 2016, according to CR Magazine, a journal that tracks such information.
CR Magazine’s Ladder Awards rank the top 25 companies that made the most advancement in 2016 in responsible business practices.
Pitney Bowes in Stamford was the other Connecticut company that made the list, ranking 13th.
Companies are ranked by CR Magazine on more than 300 data points collected on publicly available information covering climate change, employee relations, environmental, financial, governance, human rights, philanthropy and community support.
