Bloomfield health insurer Cigna said Mark Butler is its new president and general manager for New England.
Butler replaces Don Curry, who is retiring after 12 years in the position.
Butler will lead Cigna’s business in all six New England states, but the company plans to eventually separate Connecticut as its own market. Cigna said it’s looking for a Connecticut GM.
Butler is based in Boston.
