Cidra gains key certification

Wallingford-based Cidra Corp. said it has received a key approval from European regulators for its Sonartrac device, used to monitor flow rates of drilled gas and oil and other chemicals. The company called the certification, which allows the clamp-on metering device to be used in explosion-possible areas, “extremely important” as Cidra broadens its global operations, particularly those in Europe.
