Linda Wieleba has been promoted to senior vice president and senior loan officer, at Connecticut Innovations in Rocky Hill.
At the same time, Amy Hourigan was promoted to vice president, marketing and communications, at the state’s quasi-public authority that provides financing and strategic assistance to businesses.
Prior to joining CI, Wieleba was vice president of New England Bank where she was responsible for new business development of both commercial and industrial loans and commercial real estate loans. She replaces Joe Harpie who recently retired after more than 20-years of service to the Connecticut Development Authority.
Hourigan has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience and has held various senior management positions in the environmental risk management and geographic information systems industries. She is a national award-winning business writer, and has authored numerous articles for a variety of clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
