The state’s technology investment authority, Rocky Hill-based Connecticut Innovations, has provided $850,000 in funding to XLerant Inc. through the Eli Whitney Fund.
XLerant, based in Stamford, is a software development and marketing company that has created a product called BudgetPak, which works like TurboTax, but for budgeting.
The product provides non-financial managers with a resource that addresses the challenges of overspending and money allocation.
