The state’s quasi-public venture capital arm, Connecticut Innovations, has hired Mark Zhu as an investment associate.
Zhu will source and evaluate investment opportunities, structure new investments and monitor CI portfolio companies.
He was most recently an investment manager at DTE Energy Ventures in Michigan. He also previously worked for UTC Power and Praxair.
Zhu has a bachelor’s degree and doctorate in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration.
