CI brings British tech firm to Connecticut

Connecticut Innovations announced today that it has provided $500,000 in seed funding to London-based Keisense Inc., money that will help the mobile electronics technology company relocate to the Nutmeg State.

The British company has created a unique, patent-pending technology that overcomes the limitations and challenges of text input in today’s mobile electronics devices.

It’s called PriText, and it outfits mobile devices with full QWERTY keyboards. It also effectively senses the user’s intentions during text input to enhance the user’s experience. Keisense is CI’s 10th investment and second successful international recruitment since July.
