Sue Chmieleski has been appointed healthcare industry leader, North America, within the corporate risk and broking (CRB) segment for Willis Towers Watson, a global advisory and brokerage. Chmieleski, working in the company’s Hartford office, will be responsible for strategy and enhancing the company’s value for serving healthcare organizations, including hospitals, integrated delivery systems, physician groups, long-term care facilities and managed care organizations.
She will work across the company’s global platform to deliver services to clients, including risk analytics, clinical risk management consulting and claims management. Chmieleski is a 40-plus-year industry veteran and most recently served as president, North America healthcare division, Allied World Assurance Co. She reports to Rick Hawkinberry, chief operating officer, CRB, North America.
