Chick-fil-A North Haven site sold for $3.5 million

The Chick-fil-A building in North Haven has sold for $3.5 million.

The fast food restaurant at 560 Universal Drive had been on the market for just about two months with an asking price of $3.5 million.

New York-based Bombino LLC and the Chick-fil-A corporation out of Atlanta, Ga., have owned the property since 2016 when it was purchased from Cinemark, USA Inc., owner of a nearby movie theater site, for $3.1 million, according to town records.

It was sold to 550 Universal LLC and principal George Butsikaris out of Brooklyn, N.Y.
  
The listing broker for the Aug. 25 deal was Connor Olandt, AVP and director of Matthews Real Estate and Investment Services based out of Costa Mesa, California.

The restaurant with drive-thru window sits in a plaza near other shopping venues such as Home Depot, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Barnes and Noble.

Chick-fil-A is a major American fast food restaurant chain and the largest specializing in chicken sandwiches. The company is headquartered in College Park, Ga., and Chick-fil-A operates more than 2,800 restaurants, primarily in the United States.
