Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc. says Chicago’s Loyola University Health System is joining its network, effective March 1.
As of that date, Aetna’s some 436,000 Chicago area members can receive services, at in-network rates, from Loyola’s facilities and physicians. Approximately 500 primary care and specialist physicians will be added to the Aetna network, Aetna said Monday.
Aetna says it also employs more than 400 people in the Chicago area.
