A limited liability company linked to a Brooklyn school bus company recently paid $2.32 million for a self-storage facility in Cheshire.
James A. Fazzone Developers LLC, of Cheshire, sold the 26,875-square-foot facility to Curcio CT Highland LLC in a sale the town recorded on May 8.
According to state business records, the buying LLC’s president is Jodi Genovese. Curcio CT Highland LLC shares a Brooklyn address with the offices of school busing company Consolidated Bus Transit. A Linkedin page for Jodi Genovese lists her as the owner of Consolidated Bus Transit.
The concrete block building was erected in 2014 on a large industrial site shared by multiple buildings and owners.
Cheshire Economic Development Director Andrew Martelli said the storage units were only recently built out, with a ribbon cutting for the existing storage facility held a little more than a year ago.Â
